✔️ Capturing emotion

I encourage authenticity. My posing/prompting relies on me getting to know you, what your natural smile looks like and bringing out your natural movements. Maybe this happens by baking cookies in your kitchen, or running through the grass at Chautauqua. The goal is to do things you normally do during your session!

✔️ Make the ordinary extraordinary

When I arrive at the venue for your event, I notice the art on the walls, the way the light falls, how co-workers interact with each other and the enthusiasm they have while greeting guests for an event. Even if your event is taking place in an ordinary location, my job is to take photos that make it look extraordinary.

✔️ Observing

Often times during an event, I see a moment happen and it only lasts for 3 seconds. I’m always anticipating those interactions. Moments of surprise, a handshake- I’m always looking for and documenting these moments.
