Boulder, Colorado Documentary Photographer

Hi! I’m Annah. Pronounced like: an-uh (my Dad liked a silent “h”)

I’m a Documentary Photographer in Boulder, CO. I grew up in the Northwest Suburbs of the Chicago area and graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Photography. I’ve called Colorado home since 2019.

I’ve photographed countless weddings, engagements, family sessions, spiritual and women’s events, small business and creative headshots. I connect with people quickly. I’m too curious about life to stop myself from asking about the drink you ordered at a local coffee shop. I’m a professional conversationalist. I help my clients, friends and strangers feel comfortable and welcome in front of my camera.

My devotion to documentation and preservation of moments is my entire life. I have video footage of every single day of my life from 2016 up until today (seriously, today!) I make video compilations every year, so as a record keeper and documenter, I bring this dedication to each of my clients. I scout locations, arrive early, send same day previews of photos and I always have a back-up plan.

I want you to feel like yourself. So we’ll play your favorite music, I’ll reassure you before your wedding ceremony begins, maybe you need to take a shot of fireball or ground yourself with some deep breaths before we start. Whatever it is, I’m here for you!

In my personal and professional life, I’m an activist supporting women and feminism. In my own ways, I resist agism and unrealistic beauty standards placed on women. I advocate for BIPOC, the LGBTQ+ community, small business owners and more.

Each person I/we encounter is going through some unspoken hardship. I lead my life knowing there’s always room for more kindness.

When I’m not working, I still have lots of Gemini energy. I love to dance at Red Rocks, write, attend meditation circles, snowboard, thrift, hike & storm-watch.
