Denver, CO Urban Headshot Photographer -

Kevin recently returned from his deployment overseas where he was a platoon leader. He knew that after his deployment, he wanted to switch careers and pursue his passion for self development and coaching others through life. His business focuses on military veterans experiencing depression, anxiety and things that affect their day to day lives after the military. Kevin is passionate about helping others become better versions of themselves every day. I admire his skills, intelligence and compassion for men in need of emotional support and daily discipline help. Kevin is such a kind person with so much to offer. I loved doing this photoshoot with him and getting to hear about his plans for the future of his already successful business!

Denver, CO Indoor Headshot Inspiration - McKinley

I showed up at McKinley's doorstep to her holding a miniature Australian Shepherd in her arm and holding back a larger dog, saying "Annah!!! Hi! Do you like dogs?" haha

From the moment I met her, she was so energetic and welcoming. It felt like we'd been friends for years! McKinley has such a warm personality. She is a hardworking woman who knows her values and I admire her so much for that. I aim to make photo sessions as empowering as they can be. It’s important to feel confident in your body and know your worth. Even if the photos are for updated career headshots, it’s important for that confidence to come through.

. McKinley is indigenous and advocates for the rights of women as well as indigenous people at protests and rallies when she has free time. After spending a little time with McKinley for these photos, I knew we would see each other again as friends soon. I’m so grateful for our connection. I’m inspired by McKinley’s success in her career and even more, I’m inspired by her beliefs and the strong voice she uses to speak them.

Boulder Headshot Photographer - Shanahan Ridge

Boulder Headshot Photography at Shanahan Ridge

This short session for these physical therapists at Kind Rehabilitation was great. This was a 30 minute session that flew by, but was perfect for a handful of photos for each person and group photos. We met at the trailhead of Shanahan Ridge to take headshots. I focused on variety in individual poses as well as group poses for their website. Everyone was lovely to work with and be in the company of. I loved connecting and found out that one of these physical therapists used to live 5 miles away from my hometown in Illinois! Having little conversations throughout a session is a necessity for me. This is how I connect with strangers and it’s how I’m able to get genuine photos of each person.

This photoshoot with Ryann was beautiful. The last time we saw each other was in February! 6 months later, we got together to make more magic for Ryann’s business. We wanted to take advantage of the beautiful wildflowers in Boulder so we found a pretty, secluded open field to take some photos at before going to Boulder creek. I love spending an hour or so with Ryann to take photos and talk about life.

Headshot Photographer in Nederland, Colorado

Headshot Photographer in Nederland, Colorado

Amber is a mindset coach. She has her own business to help women grow and she was in need of new images for her posts and website. We went to Nederland and we found beautiful trees and color all over. These photos make Amber’s posts for her clients appealing and they represent herself and brand. My headshot sessions are meant to represent your true self. My style of photography is to look natural and most like yourself. This was effortless with Amber since she smiles all the time and has so much energy. We had about and hour to take photos. Afterwards, I sent a gallery to Amber with 156 final photos. The number of images I produce is always different for each session, but I typically overshoot and give you lots of options :)
